The Practice

Chesham

The surgery in Chesham was opened in 1965 by David Unwin. David and his family lived above the surgery and his wife Hilary answered the telephone. Since then the surgery has grown every year both in staff and facilities; most recently with a major extension and refurbishment in 2003 so that now there are 3 consulting rooms, 3 operating theatres and inpatient accommodation for 42 animals.

Amersham

The Amersham surgery was opened in 1970 and shortly after that time Mr Unwin bought out Mr Nicholls, a rival veterinary surgeon in Amersham. The surgery was completely refurbished in the Autumn of 2005 and now offers a range of consultations. Puppy parties are also held here in the evening every fortnight.

Consultations are held morning and afternoon Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.

Little Chalfont

Little Chalfont surgery was opened in 1975 with consultations held between 2-3pm Monday and Thursday afternoons. It was expanded in 1985 to open 9-10am and 2-3pm Monday to Friday.

At Little Chalfont there is good car parking and the open surgeries avoid the commitment of having to make an appointment – just walk in and take a seat during opening hours!
