Janet qualified from the Royal Veterinary College,London. After teaching there for two years she came to Chesham and joined The Wheelhouse. Her areas of special interest are large breed animals, behaviour problems in cats and dogs and geriatric animals. In recent years she has undertaken further courses – in animal behaviour, homeopathy and small animal general practice.
In addition to her clinical work Janet is an assessor for the RCVS Nurse Training Scheme, maintains or RCVS accreditation and our Investors in People status.
Janet herself has two dogs ( a Great Dane and a Border Terrier) two cats ( Ivy, 18 years old and her diabetic son, Larch 16 years old) and some hens.
Outside of work. She is Parish Councillor, school governor, flower arranger and supporter of the England Lacrosse team as her two daughters are in the squad.
