Mobile Vets

The Wheelhouse at Your House!

  • Does your cat cower at the sight of the carrier?
  • Does your dog dive for cover at the sight of the vet clinic?
  • Do you find it hard to get out and about?
  • Does the thought of corralling your kids together to take your pets to the vet fill you with dread?

Well, no more!
We aim to deliver friendly, relaxed and professional health care to your pets in the comfort of your own home.
No more dragging your dog to the consult room door, no more trembling cats and rabbits. We can now offer all their routine health care needs without you having to step foot out of your front door.

On 27th June 2016 we launched our new NON-EMERGENCY service to the residents of HP9
West of the A355. Beaconsfield, Forty Green, Knotty Green and Holtspur, offering veterinary healthcare in the comfort of your own home.

  • Who are we?

Amie Cameron - MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon * Amie is currently on Maternity leave and so our Mobile Vet service is being looked after by Vets - James Warwick & Rebecca Castle alongside Nurse Louise Clark*
I graduated from Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand in 2004. I worked at a mixed animal practice (mainly Dairy cows) in Taranaki, New Zealand for 3 years before moving to England in 2007. Since then I have been practicing small animal veterinary medicine, joining the Wheelhouse in 2009. I love the variety and challenges of being a small animal GP, although I do have special interests in elderly cat and dog medicine and soft tissue surgery. During my time at The Wheelhouse I have also been  on BBC Three Counties radio station where I held regular call in sessions.
I am married to Hayden (a fellow Kiwi) and we have a one and a half year old son called Jack. We also have a cat called Little Miss. She is a 10 year old tabby who I got from the RSPCA in 2007. I have grown up with many various pets including cats, dogs, rabbits, horses, sheep, chickens, geese, goldfish, mice and zebra finches. Needless to say, I love animals and am lucky to be able to do a job I love.
