Sophie - Veterinary Physiotherapist
Sophie MVetPhys RAMP registered, CAMadvocate Level 1, Veterinary Physiotherapist

I have always had a love for animals, I turned this interest into my career, studying and qualifying with a master's degree in veterinary Physiotherapy from Writtle University College in 2021. I joined Wheelhouse in November 2022 to pursue my interest in rehabilitating animals after diagnosis and working as part of a team to help improve an animal's quality of life.

I am also a member of RAMP (Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners) which is a voluntary register of professionals who have signed up to take responsibility to attain and maintain gold standards of practise in animal musculoskeletal treatment.

The register is designed to help veterinary surgeons and animal owners choose competent professionals providing Chiropractic, Osteopathic and Physiotherapy techniques for the treatment of their animals.

Care of arthritic patients forms a large part of the physiotherapy clinics. I have completed the Canine Arthritis Management CAMadvocate Level 1 course increasing my knowledge in how to support our patients and their owners with this disease.

We are proud to offer our Physiotherapy service from our Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Amersham and Beaconsfield surgeries, which means we work closely alongside our clinical team of highly experienced vets and nurses.
