James graduated from the University of Bristol in 2011 and has been a small animal practitioner ever since. After initially being based in a small animal practice in Surrey, James moved to New Zealand to explore the beautiful country and gain experience working abroad. Since his return in 2015 he has worked as a locum in the local area and joined us as head vet of our Chalfont St Giles branch in March 2017.
James has recently completed a post graduate diploma in clinical oncology at the University of Birmingham and now spends a lot of time caring for cancer patients. He maintains a special interest in this field, an area which is ever evolving and can often be very challenging.
Outside of work James lives with his wife Sally, their baby boy Teddy and Max their black and white cat. As a family they love to travel but are enjoying becoming established in South Bucks. James likes to stay active and is often found on the football pitch or out on his bike!
