Part Time Role
We are looking for a super friendly Receptionist to join our busy, customer focused veterinary practice based in the Chilterns working on average 25 hours per week.
We are a thriving practice with an excellent reputation in our local community and pride ourselves on our impeccable customer care.
This role is fast paced within a friendly team with no working day the same so we are looking for calm and committed individuals who enjoy a challenge and work well under pressure.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
- Liaising with the clients and the clinical staff to provide 5 star customer care
- Meeting and greeting clients with professionalism
- Booking appointments and diary management
- Managing telephone and email enquiries
- Taking payment for services and products
- Managing cash and end of day banking
- Cleaning a preparing rooms for consultations
- Opening and closing the practice
The role offers a generous salary and holiday package, a day off for your birthday, time off in lieu or paid overtime, paid lunch breaks and further learning and development is actively encouraged.
As we operate over four branches, successful candidates will be required to work across the sites therefore a use of own vehicle and a full, clean driver’s license is essential.
Our practices are open 7 days a week and therefore some weekend work is required on a rotational basis.

The Wheelhouse Veterinary Centre is owned by IVC Evidensia and led by our own in-house Management team. We have had the privilege of caring for small animals in the local community for over 50 years.

£12,610 per annum.
